A New Englander from the Boston area, Abigail was ordained in Massachusetts in 1998 and has served churches on Cape Cod, in downtown Chicago, and on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Her undergraduate degree is from Yale University and she received her Master of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School. Abigail went on to General Theological Seminary in New York City where she earned a Master of Sacred Theology.
Abigail considers serving as a parish priest to be a privilege and delight because each day brings unexpected challenges and joys. She particularly appreciates opportunities to be with people at significant times in their lives.
Throughout her ministry, Abigail has been particularly interested in addressing issues related to hunger and homelessness. She volunteered at The Women’s Lunch Place in Boston, served on the board of Cathedral Shelter in Chicago and on the board of Habitat for Humanity Choptank.
Abigail lives in Berwyn with her husband, Mark, and has two children, two dogs, and a parrot. She enjoys hiking, running, cycling and most outdoor activities.
